Understanding Confidence Scores
Strong identification with multiple stable signals. This visitor has been seen before with consistent browser characteristics.
Moderate confidence. Some signals may have changed or this is a new visitor with limited history.
Low confidence. Browser characteristics are unstable, privacy mode enabled, or potential tampering detected.
Factors That Affect Confidence Score:
- ✓ Browser history: More visits = higher confidence
- ✓ Signal stability: Consistent fingerprint components increase confidence
- ✗ Privacy modes: Incognito/private browsing may lower confidence
- ✗ Browser changes: Updates, extensions, or settings changes can affect signals
- ✗ Anti-fingerprinting tools: Privacy extensions actively interfere with identification
